Joshua Tree National Park captures the imagination of visitors from around the world, many of whom come to the park for a literal and figurative “breath of fresh air”.
Devastatingly, Joshua Tree National Park is one of the national parks most harmed by air pollution, which has already reduced the suitable habitat for Joshua trees and could eliminate almost all of it by 2099. Vehicle emissions are a primary source of dangerous air pollution in the park.
The park is on pace to convert 90 percent of fleet vehicles to electric by 2030. But they need enough vehicle chargers to make the transition. With your help, Joshua Tree National Park will install two BOSCH Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations at their headquarters. Our fundraising goal to cover the cost is $10,000.
